Hembrow became famous after she had her first child in 2014 and started posting pictures of her fitness journey on Instagram. She connected with a new group of women looking for a balance between being a mother and being fit by posting unedited photos, before-and-after transformations, and motivational quotes.

 

People quickly became fans of her because she was real. By 2017, Hembrow had launched Tammy Fit, a subscription-based fitness app, along with her activewear brand Saski Collection. Saski, which is named after her daughter Saskia, became one of the fastest-growing activewear companies in Australia and reached a global market.

 

She is one of Australia’s most important digital entrepreneurs because she sells directly to customers and is both the face and founder of her brands.

The Kardashian Connection and Other Issues

Tammy’s career had its share of problems. She went to Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party in Los Angeles in 2018, where she passed out in front of the paparazzi, which started rumours about her way of life. People thought she was overworked, but Tammy later said she was just jet-lagged and dehydrated. This made the event a global sensation that helped her career.

  • Tammy’s first famous relationship was with Reece Hawkins, a personal trainer and influencer, from 2014 to 2018. There was a lot of drama when the couple broke up in public in 2018, especially when Reece started dating model London Shay Goheen. Tammy and Reece now share parenting duties for their two children, Wolf and Saskia, even though things were rough.
  • Tyga (2019): Tammy was briefly linked to US rapper Tyga after the release of his song Wet Wipes, which mentioned a “Tammy.” Later, she said they didn’t have a serious relationship.
  • Matt Poole (2019–2023): Tammy got engaged to Matt Poole, a former Ironman and restaurant owner, in 2021. Their engagement on a luxury yacht in November 2021 got a lot of media attention, and they had a daughter named Posy in 2022. But by 2023, they had announced their friendly breakup and would continue to co-parent as friends.
  • Tammy’s most recent relationship was with Matt Zukowski, who was on Love Island from 2023 to 2025. The two got engaged in 2024 and had a big wedding at Chateau Du Soleil in Byron Bay.
